Hi All
The Second day of the first ever Royal Three Counties Show was fantastic and bar one very sharp shower of rain we were blessed with beautiful sun!! Today was Dairy Day and it was the also the Interbreed Championship events.
The Interbreed Sheep champion was a beautiful Charollais Ram. This fine exhibit was from Mrs J Curtis who came from Hereford. It is great to see so many local farmers supporting our local Royal Three Counties Show. Reserve Champion went to Mr D Lewis with a Ryeland. This was a lovely specimen of the Breed. The Colour Ryeland was won by No. 1350 exhibited by Mr Stone. The Interbreed pig was won by the Welsh Breed, entry no. 217. The massive sow (born before 1 July 2012) was bred by Messrs Edwards & Thomas. The Interbreed Cattle championship went to the Aberdeen Angus which was exhibited by Glympton Farms Ltd.
Tomorrow I will be stewarding four breeds of Rare Breeds, I look forward to reporting back to you on it.
Jack
